By downloading, installing, or using the CoreTurf application or website (collectively, "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
CoreTurf is operated by K-Tech Industrial Pty Ltd (ABN available on request), a Queensland-based company.
2. Use of the Service
CoreTurf is provided as a lawn care management tool for personal and small-scale professional use. You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable Australian or international laws or regulations
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Use the Service to transmit harmful, offensive, or misleading content
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
3. Chemical Records and Compliance
CoreTurf is designed to assist with recording pesticide and fertiliser applications. You are solely responsible for ensuring your chemical application records meet the requirements of any applicable Australian laws, including APVMA product label conditions and any state or territory record-keeping obligations.
CoreTurf does not constitute legal or agronomic advice. The app is an organisational and calculation tool — always refer to product labels, Safety Data Sheets, and applicable legislation when applying chemicals.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. K-Tech Industrial Pty Ltd does not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
- GDD calculations, weather data, or any other app output will be accurate or suitable for your specific conditions
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
Weather data is sourced from Open-Meteo, a third-party service. We make no representations about its accuracy for your specific location.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, K-Tech Industrial Pty Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of income, or damages arising from reliance on app output.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty, or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.
6. Your Data
All lawn data you enter into the CoreTurf app is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to K-Tech Industrial Pty Ltd. For full details of how data is handled, see our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of any data you wish to preserve. Uninstalling the app will delete all locally stored data.
7. Changes to the Service and Terms
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
